Bruce is in big trouble and all of his usual saviors are out of commission when Gotham season 2, episode 11, “Worse than a Crime,” begins. After being beaten by Galavan and his men, Gordon wakes up confused to see Penguin and Nygma singing by the piano. Penguin rescued Gordon for Galavan’s men and brought him to Nygma’s apartment where he’s been in hiding. It looks like Gordon and Penguin are back to being friendly again, for now, and are willing to work together to bring Galavan down.

Meanwhile, Alfred finds himself at the waste dump after hitching a ride in one of their trucks. Unfortunately, Tabitha has followed him, so he has to hide in an old refrigerator. Too bad it also gets a bunch of trash dumped on top of it as well. Tabitha eventually gives up and leaves, which gives Alfred a chance to escape, but he ends up tasered by a police officer when she sees him trying to steal a car.

Lucius Fox comes out of the cave at Wayne Manor and quickly realizes something isn’t right. No one is there and the furniture is out of place, so he heads down to the police department to file a missing persons report only to find that Barnes is resistant. Luckily, it turns out they have Alfred in custody.

After telling them what happened, Alfred, Lucius, and Bullock all think Galavan is behind Bruce’s disappearance, but Barnes doesn’t want to go for a warrant without proof. As they wish they knew where Gordon was, they hear Nygma laughing and ask if he knows. Nygma panics and answers in a riddle that Lucius figures out means “home,” and deduces that Gordon is hiding at Nygma’s place.

When Lucius, Alfred, and Bullock go to find Gordon, he’s about to leave town with Leslie who has told him that she’s pregnant. Once Gordon finds out that Galavan has Bruce, he knows he can’t leave, so he agrees to help them but first they need to figure out how to get in. That’s when Selina pops by and joins their growing gang, saying she knows how to get into Galavan’s building.

Selina delivers and gets them into the building where they arrive just in time to stop Father Creel from sacrificing Bruce. Gordon, Bullock, and Alfred get into a shootout with Father Creel and the monks while Lucius heads to the GCPD for backup. Galavan, Tabitha, and Silver escape from the group and go to leave, but first Galavan wants to kill Silver for disobeying him. Tabitha is having none of that and knocks him out, then uses the only two parachute packs to save herself and Silver.

Gordon goes to arrest Galavan but is disturbed by how calm he is, and it’s clear that Galavan thinks he’s immune from actual jail time. He goes to kill Galavan, but Barnes arrives and tries to talk him down from it. Penguin decides to take matters into his own hands and knocks Barnes out, and some sense into Gordon. Together, Penguin and Gordon drive Galavan down to the docks where they kill him.

It’s clear from here on out Gordon will be a changed man. He’s always walked that line of what’s right and what’s wrong and now he’s seemed to gone over the edge. This isn’t the first time he’s killed in the name of Penguin, but this time it was for the greater good.

Now that he sees sometimes you have to do something bad to make things better, how will it affect his career as a detective? Will he be more willing to work with Penguin in the future or will Gordon try to go back to the way things were before?

Do you think Gordon made the right decision on ‘Gotham’?
