Gotham fans will be seeing more of Butch, plus another new character in season 2!
Drew Powell (who portrays Butch) has been promoted to a series regular on Gotham season 2. Now that Fish Mooney is out of the picture, Deadline reports that Butch will remain loyal to Penguin.
It should be interesting to see how their partnership pans out, especially with Butch still a bit messed up from his torture via Zsasz. Plus Penguin’s past difficulties holding respect from other gang members.
Fans can also look forward to seeing Michael Chiklis added to the cast on Gotham season 2. He will be appearing in a series regular role as Captain Nathaniel Barnes, TV Line reports. If Chiklis looks familiar, it’s because he’s no stranger to playing a cop. You probably remember his days on Shield.
Captain Barnes will arrive at the Gotham City Police Department just in time to help Gordon as more villains are on the rise. Unlike some others in the department, Barnes isn’t afraid of making enemies, which is both good and bad, as he will end up making a very powerful enemy.
