Batman’s story starts here. Gotham season 1 premieres tonight on Fox with the story of how detective Gordon and Bruce Wayne met.
Fox is taking on a new angle of the Batman universe. Gotham will explore what happened after Bruce Wayne’s parents were murdered. Following detective James Gordon fans will get to see how the corrupt city allowed infamous villains like the Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman, and Poison Ivy to grow.
Gordon will attempt to end the corruption in the Gotham City Police Department and find truth and justice. But it won’t be easy when even his own partner is resistant to new ways. It will soon be clear that Gordon is on his own.
The synopsis for ‘Gotham’ season 1, episode 1 reads:
