With the truth about Oswald’s faked death out, the mob will be looking for answers on Gordon’s betrayal. See the danger ahead for everyone involved with the stills and synopsis from Gotham season 1, episode 7, “Penguin’s Umbrella.”
Last week on Gotham, Gordon was arrested for the murder of Oswald Cobblepot. No one wanted to believe him when Gordon said that Oswald was still alive. That is, until he showed up in the flesh at the precinct just as Gordon was about to be locked up.
But now that the GCPD knows that Oswald is alive, so will the mob. Which means big trouble for Gordon, Bullock, and everyone around them. Neither Falcone or Mooney will be very pleased to hear that Oswald is still around. Especially when he’s working with their enemy Maroni.
However, this will give Mooney a chance to negotiate with Maroni so that they’re both happy. And maybe even work together to bring down Falcone? We’ll have to wait and see on that one.

“As violence between Maroni (guest star David Zayas) and Falcone continues to escalate, Penguin reveals a new element of his manipulative strategy, forcing Gordon to deal with the consequences of his decision to spare Penguin’s life in the all-new “Penguin’s Umbrella” episode of GOTHAM airing Monday, Nov. 3 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.”
