Last night on Gotham season 1, episode 18, “Everyone Has A Cobblepot,” Gordon had to call on his allies for help. Find out what happened with our recap!

Alfred is awake, but still in the hospital. When Alfred doesn’t want to say who attacked him, Bruce is confused. It appears, that Alfred is determined to get to the truth himself.

Selina shows up to apologize to Bruce with a hug. He tells her what really happened and his suspicions about the board being involved. Bruce knows that some of his files are missing and wants to track Reggie down. So she offers to help him, but Bruce says he doesn’t want anyone else getting hurt.

Mooney wakes up to find Dr. Francis Dulmacher looking over her. It appears that he doesn’t know what to do with her so Mooney suggest that he takes her under his wing. Another surprise, he replaced her eye with a new one.

Dulmacher decides to test Mooney. He wants her to go back to the basement, return the guard, and get the prisoners to start donating again. But first, he shows her what happens when people fail him. Dulmacher has turned the manager into his own Frankenstein project.

A return to the basement reveals that the prisoners think that Mooney has turned against them. Now, they’re not so trusting of her. Especially when she lets the guards take some of them away.

At the GCPD, Harvey Dent and the captain bear the bad news to Gordon that Flass has been cleared of all charges. Dent was able to do some digging and found out that Commissioner Loeb was the one that found the witness to clear Flass. And now Loeb wants Flass to head the Police Union.

When Gordon goes to find out what happened, Loeb is all too eager to show a video of Bullock clearing Flass. Bullock says that he would have lost his job and gone to prison if he didn’t do it. Gordon is still determined to get the truth out.

To try and take Loeb’s power away, Gordon wants to find his stash of evidence against the police force and destroy it. Dent has the idea to question Loeb’s former police partner.

Bullock has to save Dent and Gordon when they try to look into Leob’s business partner that his partner pointed them to. It ends up being a trap so Bullock does some questioning of his own. Now they know that Falcone has the information they want.

Penguin seems to be their only option to get the information from Falcone. But in order to get it, Gordon has to let Penguin look at the files for ten minutes alone. Plus offer a favor without any questions. Bullock doesn’t think it’s a good idea but Gordon is determined.

Using information he overhead from Falcone, Penguin takes them to a farm in the countryside. The little old couple watching it turns out to be gun blazers. Upstairs, they find Loeb’s daughter, Miriam. When they ask Miriam about her mother, she avoids the topic. After talking about how she kills birds, Miriam admits that she was the one to kill her mother.

Loeb is surprised to find that Gordon is willing to hold Miriam for leverage. He wants Flass to go to trial again, as well as hand over the evidence against Bullock and the other cops. Loeb agrees on Flass and Bullock file, but not the rest. He does agree to back Gordon as the Police Union president.

Meanwhile, Penguin has fine turning the little old married couple against one another. He tells them that he’ll send them to Arizona for safety from Falcone, but only has one ticket. The wife doesn’t hesitate to kill her husband, which amuses Penguin. Especially since he doesn’t have a ticket and planned to shoot her all along.
