Tonight on Gotham season 2, episode 9, “A Bitter Pill to Swallow,” Gordon makes a new enemy.
Last week on Gotham, Barbara set a trap for Gordon to get him downtown, where Tabitha was able to help abduct him. Then she had him taken to the church where their wedding was supposed to take place. Naturally, Barbara also had Leslie taken, and said she wanted to expose the real Gordon. But was surprised to find that Leslie already knew all about Gordon’s darker choices in life.
Before Barbara could finish her plan to take Leslie out of the picture, Gordon got free. And a struggle with her in the attic of the church lead to Barbara falling out of the window. Somehow she survived the fall, and now we have to wait and see where her mental state will be when she wakes up.
But of course, this means that Gordon will have even more guilt to deal with when it comes to Barbara. He already feels bad about everything she went through when she was abducted by a serial killer. Will seeing Barbara physically damaged, as well as mentally, be too much for Gordon? And can his relationship with Leslie stand the damage done by Barbara? Hopefully we’ll find out tonight on Gotham season 2, episode 9, “A Bitter Pill to Swallow.”
