Tonight on Gotham season 2, episode 4, “Strike Force,” the GCPD meets it’s new captain!

Tonight on Gotham the GCPD is moving on now that their former captain’s killer is gone. That means it’s time for someone new to come in and take the reigns. Cue Barnes (played by Michael Chiklis) to come in and take over the seat left empty by Essen.

Barnes is ready to make some changes now that he’s the man in charge of the GCPD. His first order of business is to take care of Gordon. He’s heard about Gordon’s reputation and wants to make him second in command. Whether this is to keep a better eye on him or to use his influence over the others remains to be seen.

Next, Barnes is ready to clean up the city. That means going after the man in charge of the mobs — Penguin. Gordon will have to decide if he wants to keep working with Penguin or follow his new boss. It looks like Gordon is going to follow the lead of his new boss and clean up his own act.
