Tonight on Gotham season 2, episode 3, “The Last Laugh,” Bruce and Jerome come face to face!

On the last episode of Gotham, Theo started training the group from Arkham to take over the city. Their first mission was to let everyone know who they were, the Maniax. They achieved this by throwing citizens over the Gotham Gazette building with the name Maniax marked on their clothes.

Jerome was formally made the leader of the group after proving himself in a game of Russian Roulette against Greenwood. Their next task was to steal a truck loaded with gasoline. Which they then used on a busload of teenage cheerleaders. Gordon managed to save the cheerleaders just in time but din’t get any closer to stopping Jerome.

Barbara was put to work next, distracting Gordon while Jerome and Greenwood took over the GCPD. Many of the cops were killed, including commissioner Essen. Nygma saved Kristen, and Leslie managed to hide. This attack on the GCPD caused Bullock to return to the force. Now we’ll see if Gordon and Bullock together is enough to stop the Maniax.
