Google lets their users choose the light or dark side of the Force with new Star Wars: The Force Awakens app skins.

Are you a Jedi or a Sith Lord? Are you a Luke or an Anakin? (Err… we guess the difference between those two is kind of debatable these days.)

Google will help you make your allegiance to either the Empire or the Rebel Alliance official in order to celebrate the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

On Google.com/StarWars, you can log into your account and select either the light or the dark side, after which your apps (including the search, the calendar, Gmail and Maps) will reflect your allegiance.

If you choose the Light Side, your colors will be blue and white; the Dark Side’s colors are of course red and black.

Leading up to December 18, Easter eggs will be hidden throughout Google’s services, and you can choose to join the other side at any point to see how the other half lives. How fun!

Meanwhile, the first real The Force Awakens clip has hit the web, this one showing Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Finn (John Boyega) as they go on the run. Check it out below, or avoid at all costs if you’re staying completely spoiler-free…

And there’s another TV spot, too! Jeez, Disney, save some for the cinema:

Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits cinemas on December 18 in the U.S. That’s less than a month away now, which is hard to believe. J.J. Abrams is really hoping you’ll like the movie, so let’s hope it doesn’t let us down.
