Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman fans, prepare for tonight’s premiere of the Good Omens radio play, which stars Peter Serafinowicz, Mark Heap, Colin Morgan and many others.

BBC Radio 4 is bringing you a radio play adaptation of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s collaborative novel Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch.

Gaiman (Stardust, Coraline) and Pratchett (Discworld) are both widely renowned sci-fi and fantasy authors, and their 1990 novel is a classic of its genre.

The vast voice cast includes Clive Russell, Jim Norton, Phil Davis, Rachael Stirling, Harry Lloyd, Colin Morgan, and Louise Brealey — to mention only a few! Pratchett and Gaiman will both have cameo appearances, as well.

Peter Serafinowicz and Mark Heap play lead characters Crowley (demon) and Aziraphale (angel), respectively. The story follows the pair as they attempt to avert the impending apocalypse, encountering various biblical figures, including the Four Horsemen, the son of Satan, and the poor boy everyone falsely believes is the Antichrist.

The adaptation consists of five 30-minute episodes, leading up to a one-hour finale.

Tonight’s episode will airs at 11 p.m. GMT on BBC Radio 4, and you can listen to a preview clip on the BBC website.

What a nice way to celebrate the holidays — it’s the end of the world, but in a funny way.
