The UK’s answer to The People’s Choice Awards, known as The National Television Awards, airs tonight in the UK on ITV. Both Doctor Who and Torchwood are nominated in multiple categories.

We think it’s reasonably fair to predict that Karen Gillan and Matt Smith will come out on top in their categories; however, the show itself faces stiff competition from the ITV costume drama Downton Abbey.
