On the heels of this morning’s Golden Globes 2013 nominations announcement, NBC has released the first commercial starring Golden Globe hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

In it, the two funny ladies are dolled up and try their best classic Hollywood voices – but can’t keep it together for long.

“Amy and I are very excited to host the Golden Globe Awards this year,” Fey opens the commercial.

Adds Poehler, “Because it’s the greatest celebrity party slash award show in all of Hollywood.”

“Oh boy!” “Sounds swell!”

It does sound swell, and we can’t wait for the January 13 event live on NBC. Check out the promo below:

Poehler and Fey will be helming the night with additional duties: Golden Globe nominees. They were both nominated in the Best Actress in a Television Comedy or Musical category for their roles in Parks & Rec and 30 Rock respectively. They are up against Lena Dunham in Girls, Julia-Louis Dreyfus’ Veep, and Zooey Deschanel in New Girl. Fey’s 30 Rock co-star Alec Baldwin was nominated in the Best Actor category and will compete against Don Cheadle (House of Lies), Louis C.K. (Louie), Matt LeBlanc (Episodes), and Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory).

The Golden Globe nominees were announced this morning. Lincoln led the pack with seven nods while Django Unchained and Argo each scored five. On the television side, Mad Men‘s chance at a Best Television Globe in Drama was scratched as newcomer The Newsroom appeared to take its place on the list. The Aaron Sorkin show will go up against Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, Downton Abbey, and Homeland.
