A set of Godzilla images have been released featuring Bryan Cranston, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, and more.

Unlike the trend that has been surrounding the releases of many big blockbuster movies lately, we know hardly nothing about Godzilla, and that is a very good thing. It’s rare in this day to walk into a theater knowing very little more than a basic premise, but it’s appearing that Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures will allow that rarity.

A few new images for the film have been released, and much like the rest of the promotional material surrounding the release of the film, they don’t give away all that much either.

Most recently, a full Godzilla trailer was released. In the trailer, Bryan Cranston gave an epic speech as to what the basic premise would be in the upcoming addition to the popular franchise. Cranston’s character warned that something was out there waiting for us.

Beyond that, we really don’t know too much. The plot could go in so many directions and it looks like we’ll be seeing plenty of the effects that having a monster (monsters?) to deal with could bring, and after seeing director Gareth Edwards’ debut film Monsters, that should not come a surprise. It’ll be great to see his work in a blockbuster such as this, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if this is a rare, super intelligent blockbuster that has a lot to say.

Alongside Cranston, Aaron Taylor-Johnson will appear with Elizabeth Olsen. They play husband and wife in the film, and that’s particularly interesting given their next on screen relationship will be as brother and sister duo Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch in The Avengers: The Age of Ultron. Their chemistry in the film will be something to pay attention to.

Godzilla will also star Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins, Ken Watanabe, and David Strathairn.

‘Godzilla’ hits theaters on May 16
