In the final trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters, the iconic monster is our only hope for survival against a wave of new Titans.

For those familiar with Godzilla and classic Godzilla flicks, we’ve seen the monster face off against some pretty intense foes like Mothra, Rodan, and King Gidorah. And in the final trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Godzilla is facing off against all of them to take down King Gidorah and stop the rise of the Titans.

Humanity has found itself in danger as “17 and counting” Titans begin to rise. As these huge monsters like Mothra and Rodan rise, we soon realize they all are attacking earth thanks to their Alpha, King Gidorah, a three-headed monster, rising again.

Humanity must enlist the help of the ultimate Titan, Godzilla, to take down the Alpha and restore any form of order. It’s a risky move, letting the monster out of captivity to take down Gidorah, but as they say in the trailer, “this is Godzilla’s world, we just live in it.”

However, unlike previous attacks from these monsters, humanity is linking arms (so to speak) with the infamous creature, and fighting by his side to take down Gidorah and the rest of the Titans.

Will the duo of humanity at large and Godzilla be enough to stop Gidorah and the Titan incursion, or will life as we know it change forever? We’ll have to watch the movie to find out for sure, but with an awesome cast like Vera Farmiga, Kyle Chandler, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, and more, this movie isn’t one you’ll want to miss.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters invades theaters on May 31.
