Netflix released the trailer for GLOW season 3, and it has the gorgeous ladies of wrestling living it up in Las Vegas!

Season 2 of GLOW ended with our favorite band of wrestlers hopping on a bus to Las Vegas, and the trailer for season 3 shows us how the ladies are living in the City of Sin. Performing at the Fan-Tan Hotel and Casino every night, the ladies are working to make their mark in the world of wrestling while also struggling to deal with the realities of everyday life.

The trailer for season 3 is so great, and with Roxette’s “Listen To Your Heart” in the background, it doesn’t waste time reminding us why we love GLOW.

Alison Brie told Entertainment Weekly that season 3 will hold “lots of debauchery,” and “feels unlike anything we’ve shot before” because they “really embrace all the things that are Vegas” like “the danger, the excitement, the sex, the raciness.” Co-creator Liz Flahive also explained that the women are in a “very weird period in Vegas history” when the mob had cleared out of the city, but Steven Wynn hadn’t yet arrived.

It’s in this unique phase that the women arrive in Vegas and meet the entertainment director of Fan-Tan Hotel and Casino, Devereaux St. Clair. St. Clair is played by the incomparable Geena Davis. The rest of the cast of GLOW was understandably thrilled to have Geena Davis join the team, and after seeing her in the season 3 trailer, it’s clear the huge amounts of excitement and energy that she brings to the show.

Even more exciting than a killer new cast member, season 3 of GLOW will also explore queer storylines more directly, and we see hints of this in the trailer. Not only will we see Arthie and Yolanda’s relationship grow, but we will also see Bash get closer to Bobby Barnes, Fan-Tan’s resident female impersonator that also runs a drag show called Icons.

This season promises a lot of new, exciting storylines, and even though fans have been concerned about Netflix canceling the show, the team behind GLOW isn’t planning on stopping any time soon. Time will tell what Netflix chooses to do with Glow moving forward, but it seems that as long as the showrunners are allowed to continue, the show won’t end anytime soon.

Season 3 of GLOW will premiere only on Netflix on August 9, so be sure you’re caught up!
