Get ready to see more of GLOW on Netflix!

The online streaming platform announced on Thursday (August 10) that they have officially decided to renew GLOW for a second season.

The fictional series, which tells the story of a real life all-female wrestling TV series that aired in the 1980s, quickly won the hearts of millions when it first premiered on Netflix on June 23.

The series follows Ruth Wilder (Community’s Alison Brie), a struggling actress who gets a second shot when she winds up auditioning for a spot on Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. From there, Ruth finds herself working with 12 ladies in a similar position, while simultaneously going head to head with her BFF Debbie (Betty Gilpin), and a washed up director named Sam (Marc Maron), who also happens to be her boss.

Additionally, the official GLOW Twitter account took to the internet to share the good news with fans.

“Here we #GLOW again,” tweeted the series account. “Season 2 is coming.”

They paired the announcement with a short teaser video featuring a quick shot of a pair of glittery lips, followed by a neon “2,” and the official series logo.

We’re sure those who tuned in to the first season of GLOW will be happy to hear that Netflix is giving the series another season to grow, and we can’t wait to see what Ruth and the rest of the gang get up to come season 2!

There’s no word yet on when we can expect new episodes of GLOW to hit the internet, but we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for more information!
