Last night, the Beverly Wilshire played host to The Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation’s Taste for a Cure fundraiser, and Glee‘s creator Ryan Murphy as well as stars Darren Criss and Lea Michele were in attendance. Darren and Lea also provided the night’s musical entertainment.

The event, now in its 17th year, is billed as a “culinary celebration” showcasing premier Californian chefs and Napa Valley wineries. It also features a live auction of luxury vacations and prizes, all in the name of cancer research.

According to a Twitterer in attendance, Darren bid $25000 on a 12-person Costa Rica vacation, but did not end up winning the prize. The fan also tweeted that Lea and her date – her mom! – were sitting with Ryan Murphy at one table, and Darren and his guest Mia Swier were at a separate table.

Lea Michele and Darren Criss performed four songs at the benefit – Lea belted out “My Man” from Funny Girl and Darren turned his Glee hit “Teenage Dream” into an indie-rock guitar ballad, as well as performing the classic “Almost Like Being In Love.” The pair sat at the piano together to duet on the Dylan-turned-Adele hit, “Make You Feel My Love.”

We would like to see video of this duet as soon as humanly possible!
