Finally we are getting some real information on Finn returning to Glee this season! [Spoilers ahead]

Once again, TVLine’s Michael Ausiello has the inside scoop of Finn’s return to Glee this season. Here’s what he had to say about the character.

According to Ausiello, Finn will be returning to Glee during next week’s episode titled “The Break Up,” though we’ve been expecting that. He says that the episode will briefly show Finn at bootcamp:

Though next week’s big “Break-Up”-themed Glee marks the return on Cory Monteith as Finn, the former New Directions warbler has more pressing concerns than the ambiguous state of his relationship with Rachel. Like, for instance, the treatment we see him receiving when the episode briefly visits him at boot camp!

Speaking with Cory Monteith about the scene, Cory said that he had never been called names like that before:

“I’ve never been called names like that before. ‘Wormstool’ is the one that sticks out in my memory.”

Lastly, Cory says that he and The Glee Project season 2 winner Blake share a scene in an episode airing November 8 that is somewhat like the changing of the guard:

“It was cool, because I felt like I was passing the torch in a sort of awesome way. Ryder inadvertently auditions [for New Directions], and it turns into a fantasy in his head, which explodes into dancing girls, throngs of screaming women in the crowd, and he turns into the ‘Juke Box Hero.’ He’s on drums, and I’m on lead vocals. It’s epic.”

Some pretty interesting stuff coming from Cory and his character. Is it just us or is there some sense of finality to Finn’s character? Remember in season 3 when it all but felt like Quinn/Dianna was going to be leaving the show. And then of course she was involved with the car accident. This has a similar vibe to that.

There has also been some weirdness going on on Fox’s end too.

Two weeks ago we posted this article on Hypable showcasing the preview for episode 2 which showed footage of Finn and Puck coming up in the second episode. As you may know, Puck’s footage made it to the episode but Finn was nowhere to be found in 4×02. Also, Glee‘s YouTube channel has since made the video private and it’s no longer viewable! Hmm…something fishy is going on here folks!

Thanks to Dillon for the tip!
