In Glee‘s sixth and final season, Rachel and Kurt return to McKinley to bring back the Glee club. See a new trailer here!

When Glee returns in January for its final season, we’ll see original Glee club members Rachel (Lea Michele) and Kurt (Chris Colfer) fight to reinstate the society.

They’re up against the fearsome Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch), just like old times – in the promo, she ominously tells them, “You two have just entered Thunder Dome. You will beg for death.”

Rachel sings “Let it Go” (which is appropriate, seeing as her on-screen mom Idina Menzel sings the original Frozen version), while we catch glimpses of some of the other returning cast members. Blaine (Darren Criss) is back performing with the Warblers while Santana (Naya Rivera) and Brittany (Heather Morris) show the students how the alumni Cheerios get down.

The trailer ends with a heartwarming message from Will (Matthew Marrison) to former student (and now co-worker) Rachel saying, “I’ve just always seen the best in you. I think you’re going to like it here.”

It’s sad to think that we only have 13 episodes left of motivational speeches from Mr. Shue.

As for the other cast members, Amber Riley (Mercedes) and Dot-Marie Jones (Coach Beiste) have been promoted to series regulars for the show’s final season, while Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina) and Naya Rivera are only going to appear as recurring characters.
