Fox has released the first photos from Glee season 5, episode 4 which will pit Lady Gaga singles against Katy Perry hits.

Photos from Glee season 5, episode 4 depict performances of Perry’s “Roar” and Gaga’s “Applause,” the first singles from their latest studio albums PRISM and ARTPOP. We also see Blaine dressed up as a woman coming out of a magician’s hat and Artie wearing Gaga’s “Applause” make up. Becky is seen sporting the costume Gaga wore during the most recent MTV Video Music Awards, and Artie swings on a vine with his wheelchair in a Perry-inspired scene. Absent from the photos is Adam Lambert who will have a new role in the episode as someone who auditions in front of Rachel and Kurt for a new gig.

Meanwhile, Jake gets closer to Bree (Erinn Westbrook) as he and Marley grow apart.”
