Listen to all the songs from Glee season 5, episode 19, titled “Old Dog, New Tricks,” featuring songs by Madonna, Modern English and more.

So here it is, the penultimate episode of Glee season 5. We’ve all been patiently waiting for this episode ever since we learned that it would be written by Glee’s very own Chris Colfer and it’s finally almost here.

In this week’s episode, Rachel, Mercedes and Santana come together to save Rachel’s reputation after she was caught missing a Funny Girl show in order to audition for a television role. To clean up the mess, the girls put together an all-female musical gala that benefits a local dog shelter.

Since the girls are busy doing their own thing, Kurt decides to mingle with some older folks at a senior-citizen home. His new friends, who include guest stars June Squibb, Tim Conway and Billy Dee Williams, recruit Kurt to help them in a production of Peter Pan.

We think it’s great that after Blaine bonded with June Dolloway last week, Kurt is finding his own friend in June Squibb’s character. Based on just listening to the “Lucky Star” cover, it should be a fun performance and may even bring a little back to the Peter Pan production. How do you guys think this song compares to Blaine and June’s duet last week?

When we first saw the song list we thought “I Melt With You” by Modern English would be our least favorite of the bunch, but after hearing it we were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed it. We originally thought it would be sung by just Mercedes and Sam together, so we’re curious as to why Rachel is in on this love song with the couple.

Finally, we’re looking forward to seeing the entire group sing “Take Me Home Tonight.” It feels like it’s been a while since we’ve seen them all perform with each other and they all sound fantastic.

Which song are you most excited to see performed this week?

Glee season 5, episode 19 airs Tuesday, May 6 at 8 p.m. eastern/pacific on Fox.
