Glee season 4 is winding down and we’re now getting our first official peeks into what we can expect as we head to the finale!

In a press release sent out by Fox, it looks like there’s a lot to get excited about in the last couple episodes of the season. Check out the synopses below:

Thursday, April 25 – “Lights Out”

After the school’s power goes out, Will (Matthew Morrison) and Finn (Cory Monteith) lead the students in an “unplugged” session. Meanwhile, Kurt (Chris Colfer) asks Santana (Naya Rivera) and Rachel (Lea Michele) to volunteer at a Vogue.com benefit with Isabelle Wright (guest star Sarah Jessica Parker). Nene Leakes (“The New Normal”) also returns.

Thursday, May 2 – “Wonder-ful”

The members of New Directions take on the greatest hits of music icon Stevie Wonder. Then, Artie (Kevin McHale) receives news that could affect his and his mom’s (guest star Katey Sagal) future. Meanwhile in New York, Rachel prepares for her “Funny Girl” callback. Kate Hudson guest-stars.

Thursday, May 9 – “All Or Nothing”

The members of New Directions travel to Regionals. But the competition gets tough when they go head-to-head with the Hoosierdaddies and lead singer Frida Romero (guest star Jessica Sanchez). Meanwhile, Rachel finds out if she gets the callback for “Funny Girl” on Broadway.

As most Glee fans know, Cory Monteith will not be a part of the final episodes of Glee due to his checking in to rehab at the beginning of the month.

How will ‘Glee’ change with Cory Monteith’s absence?

It looks like Glee season 5 (assuming that it happens) could potentially open midway through the current school year, changing the way Glee has worked in the previous 3 seasons: one school year per season.
