So much happening at McKinley High! Hypable has a summary of Tuesday’s episode, with your tweets and comments! Check this all out, plus what Mason and John thought of tonight’s episode after the jump!

Wow! We don’t even know where to begin! First, here’s a summary of what happened in tonight’s episode.

• Finn breaks Rachel’s nose by accidentally hitting her during a dance rehearsal. She goes to the doctor, where he tells her she may need to get cosmetic surgery. She eventually tells the glee club she’s getting a nose job!
• Santana thinks that being prom queen could help her convince Brittany to dump Artie. Thinking about popularity, she goes for jock Karofsky, and notices him checking out Sam’s butt.
• Mr. Shue then tells the glee club that they’ll be doing Gaga’s Born This Way with theme of acceptance.
• Rachel and Quinn go to the doctor and take pictures of how Rachel could look with Quinn’s nose. They then sing a beautiful mashup of TLC’s Unpretty and West Side Story’s I Feel Pretty.
• On a date, Santana tells Karofsky she knows he’s gay. Santana hints at being a lesbian and suggest they be each others’ beards (a boyfriend/girlfriend of the opposite gender used solely for the purpose of maintaining the heterosexual image).
• Karofsky is brought to the glee club where he apologizes for the slushies and bullying. He then talks to Kurt alone where Kurt gets him to reveal the true reason for his apologies. Kurt insists he be a part of McKinley’s chapter of PFLAG.
• Kurt officially transfers back to McKinley.
• The Warblers sing him goodbye, and Blaine serenades him with Keane’s Somewhere Only We Know.
• Lauren discovers Quinn’s real first name is Lucy.
• Quinn had transferred from another school because she was overweight with acne and needed a nose job.
• Lauren, attempting to win prom queen, posts the picture of Quinn as Lucy on posters all over the school.
• Puck organizes a flash mob at the local mall to help Rachel realize she doesn’t need a nose job.
• Emma sees a therapist where she is prescribed SSRI for her severe case of OCD.
• They end the show with Born This Way, where each of them including Emma and Mr. Shue have shirts with their insecurities printed on them.

John‘s Thoughts – Overall I LOVED this episode. I really want to go to ‘Booty Camp’ and I’d even be down to getting slapped in the nose by Finn. That’s how much of a Gleek I am! I have to say when Emma said, “People would say I smelled like copper,” I pretty much lost it. One of the best lines of the season, if you ask me!

I am SO glad that Lucy Quinn and Rachel finally got rid of the cattiness (for now). I was really hating the way those two would talk to each other. I thought it was interesting that Quinn said being who she is she can basically get away with anything. Oh really? Well remember in season one when you got kicked out of your house for being pregnant!? I thought that was a really odd thing for her character to say.

I kept going back and forth about what I thought about Santana and Karofsky. I have always had a soft spot for Karofsky, even before we realized he was gay. Yes, he’s a mean bully, but I’ve always had hope that he would redeem himself as a sensitive softy. So, when Santana was ventriloquizing him tonight I was really let down. Yes he was going through all the motions, but we the viewers knew he pretty much didn’t mean it. Maybe this storyline will develop and he’ll end up being a genuine good guy. I’ll be so happy if that ends up happening!

Random thoughts

• Kurt singing As If We’ve Never Said Goodbye gave me chills for the millionth time this season.
• The therapist being real with Emma was very brillaint and fantastic TV. “Your illness isn’t who you’re supposed to be, it’s keeping you from who you’re supposed to be.”
• Tell me again why Santana wasn’t performing Born This Way at the end?
• When will I get my own “Barbravention?”

So many things are going to happen over the next few weeks. I’m nervous/excited/gleeking freaking out. What do you guys think of this week’s episode? I’m really interested in hearing what my fellow Gleeks have to say!

Mason‘s Thoughts – After finding last week’s “A Night of Neglect” to be one of my least favorite episodes of the season, “Born This Way” really brought back the substance and plot twists we all love about Glee.

After reading about Max Adler’s confidence in the episode, I knew there would be much more to “Born This Way” than just a Lady Gaga cover – which was well done, I might add.

If anything stole the show, it was Santana’s ‘bitch’ attitude that was the backbone to the entire episode. Santana’s deal with Karofsky allows us to see a nicer sider of Karofsky – which is weird to see – but he’s clearly assuming that role just to not be outed by Santana.

I was surprised to see the Glee Club accept Karofsky’s apology with such ease after bullying Kurt away from the school and previously showing that he can change his attitude in a flash. You may remember him previously singing and dancing with the entire Glee Club at a halftime show and then once again returning to his closeted, bullying self literally right after the performance.

Quinn and Rachel’s performance of Unpretty by TLC was one of the highlights of the episode. If you’re someone like myself who recalls TLC’s music video for Unpretty, you may agree that the song defines the episode as much as “Born This Way.”

Don’t get me wrong, it’s great to see Kurt back at McKinley – But as a fan of The Warblers, I’m hoping they don’t move on from their performances on the show. We could see this happening with the release of the new Glee: The Music presents The Warblers marking the end of their reign on the show – but I’d hope not.
