In just three years of being on air, Glee has landed 200 individual Hot 100 songs on the Billboard chart!

The Glee cast first entered the charts on June 6, 2009, with its smash hit “Don’t Stop Believing,” a cover of the classic Journey song, according to Billboard.com.

It’s hard to imagine just three years later they’ve made it to 200!

This week, the “Glee” cast hits an even 200 career Hot 100 appearances, as its remake of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” – the original of which becomes the new No.1 song on the Hot 100 – debuts at No. 26 and its mash-up of Duran Duran’s ’80s smashes “Hungry Like the Wolf” and “Rio” enters at No. 98. (“Somebody” marks the 61st charted remake of a Hot 100 No. 1 with which the “Glee” ensemble has charted.)

Interestingly, Billboard also notes that most of the songs only spend one week on the chart. 33 of 200 songs have spent more than one week on the Hot 100.

Congratulations to the cast of Glee! Do you think the show will have 200 more Hot 100 songs?
