Once again reminding us of its 2013 mid-season return, Glee hosted an on-set press conference for the Television Critic’s Association Press Tour, where the media interviewed the members of cast and executive producer Dante Di Loreto about what we can expect for the back half of Glee‘s fourth season.

After rounding up all the articles and tweets from those present at the conference, we’ve compiled a list of what we consider to be the most interesting TCA tidbits!

If Brittana is the Titanic, Heather Morris is the iceberg.
“They’re friends, but they won’t get back together […] it’s good that [Santana] moved on and gave me room to figure it out because I don’t think that they were great for each other. They’re best friends, but I think Sam gives her more room to just be herself. That’s a lot of fun. Santana was so serious for her that she really just couldn’t be weird,” says Morris, who plays Brittany. Wow. Just… wow. We’re not even going to touch that one, except to say that this sounds a lot like she thinks Brittany was dating Santana out of pity or the pressure of knowing Santana was in love with her. Nice.

Blaine doesn’t know him from Adam.
Kurt’s getting a new love interest – Adam, the head of the NYADA glee club, played by handsome Brit Oliver Kieren-Jones. “I don’t know if Blaine necessarily knows about [him],” says Darren Criss. This can only end well for Klaine, whose communication issues have caused problems for quite some time, and who are, according to Criss, “trying to define what they are […] the coming episodes address that uncertainty.”

Finn + ? = <3
“Romance is going to play a part in his future, too.” Dante Di Loreto assured the media. But will it be with Rachel, or with someone new? Also, as of the episode currently being shot, Finn is “still going strong” at the helm of New Directions. “It’s cool seeing him thrive and inspire,” Darren Criss said in regards to Finn as a teacher. This sounds great, as we much prefer Finn to Will Schuester!

Take cover. Blina is actually on.
Spoilers for “Sadie Hawkins” have already revealed that there is something happening between Tina and Blaine, but it sounds like this may be an ongoing plot. “Blaine strikes [up] a new relationship, not a romantic relationship – or maybe it is – with somebody who’s already been around, who is now more involved in Blaine’s life. They’ve kind of taken a new step in their relationship,” Darren Criss shared, adding later “Blaine and Tina take a new step in their relationship — for better or worse.” Perhaps they decide to date for the sake of convenience and companionship, and commit to being one another’s emotional center in a co-dependant but platonic way, the way we’ve always wished Hummelberry would? Or maybe Blaine’s giving bisexuality another good old go.

Everyone’s going to NYADA.
Well, maybe not everyone. But as season four enters its back half, we will see a few more graduations – Sam, Brittany, Tina, Artie and Blaine – and Dante Di Loreto says we shouldn’t rule out some of McKinley’s Class of 2013 showing up in New York City. Tina and Blaine are the most likely,  and even Harry Shum Jr, who will reappear on the show soon, said he’d like Mike Chang to try out for NYADA or show up in New York, despite his current placement with the Joffrey Ballet. NYADA will be spared a few McKinley alums, at least – Kevin McHale expects Artie to pursue directing, and as for Sam Evans? “Once I graduate, I’d probably save up a little money, get back on the pole. But then, I don’t know, maybe I would move down to Nashville and do some country music,” Chord Overstreet stated. “I think Sam likes his country music. I’m certainly a country music fan.” Welcome back, White Chocolate.

Heather Morris wants Brittany to end up in jail after high school.
This writer wants Heather Morris to stay far, far away from the Glee writer’s room.

Reality check please!
When asked what he might like Blaine to do after he graduates, Darren Criss admitted that, whatever was in store for his character, he wants Blaine to have to work for it. “Regardless of where it goes, I would like to see Blaine struggle. He’s a very privileged young lad who went to a private school, probably has a bit of money. Big things happen for him all the time that I’d like, if he does have everything going for him, [for him] to realize that things don’t get handed to you,” Criss said. “You have to work really hard. Things aren’t served to you on a silver platter.”

Practice makes perfect.
Remember the original six’s performance of “Push It” that featured in “Showmance,” the second episode of season 1? Kevin McHale and Jenna Ushkowtiz revealed that they rehearsed that number for a month before shooting. Four years later, on the day of the TCA Press Tour, the experienced cast have been shooting a musical number that they learned only the day before. How times change!

Wedding bells chime again.
We know, we know. It’s probably Wemma, it’s around Valentine’s Day, it probably involves Moulin Rouge in some way. However, Dante Di Loreto warns “There are some things that are going to shock the heck out of you.”
