Glee is about to get a bit chilly in it’s upcoming season as we have learned that the show will be featuring a song from Frozen.

On September 12 Lea Michele took to her Twitter to confirm that Glee would be covering the song “Let It Go” from the Disney movie Frozen (in case you’ve never heard of it).

The actress wrote, “I don’t care… What they’re going to say… Let the storm rage on… The cold never bothered me anyway…” and included a photo from the set.

Covering “Let It Go” isn’t that surprising considering the massive popularity of the movie and that there is no escaping the song anywhere you go. We’re actually surprised it took Glee this long to jump on the bandwagon.

Glee also loves to cover knockout Idina Menzel since she’s, you know, sort of amazing. And if anyone is going to do the song justice it’s going to be Lea Michele. Plus, she looks stunning in that floor-length gown that is reminiscent of Elsa herself.

The final season is supposed to take place back in Lima, Ohio so we wonder what the context of “Let It Go” will be. Is Rachel finally letting go of her failing career out in California or is there something else that she’s trying to put behind her?

Are you excited for ‘Glee’ to cover ‘Let It Go’? Or are you over it?

Glee’s final season is set to premiere in 2015.
