Today during a special Spreecast interview with Dot-Marie Jones, the actress broke down in tears live on camera as she spoke about her friend, Cory Monteith.

If it weren’t clear that the Glee cast is missing their friend and coworker still, this should prove otherwise.

Before Dot-Marie even has a chance to respond to the question about Cory, it’s visible that she is physically reacting to the moment. Talking about filming the episode, Jones says:

“It’s like losing a family member. I come back in episode 3 this season. I just got done shooting it last Friday, and it was probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. It’s not just written words – this is real life. It happened.”

Jones goes on to talk about how much she loved Cory:

“I loved Cory, I loved him so much, and I loved working with him. I was so thankful and so glad that I had so many scenes last season where it was just he and I.”

“He was a great guy, and it was a horrible accident. You’re makin’ me cry.”

Also in the Spreecast, Dot-Marie Jones admits that it took her two and a half days to get through the entire script of the Cory Monteith tribute episode.
