Last week’s episode of Glee was dance heavy for Lea Michele and Kate Hudson! Check out this behind-the-scenes video featuring Kate Hudson and choreographer Zach Woodlee talking about the technical aspects of the show.

In the video, posted by Fox on Glee‘s official YouTube page, Kate Hudson talks about how her mother (Goldie Hawn for those who don’t know) did a performance of “All That Jazz” with none other than Liza Minnelli.

“What’s kind of cool about this is that my mom and Liza Minnelli did a variety show together. And they did the number – they did an ‘All That Jazz’ number. So I was talking to my mom the other day and I was like ‘how fun, I’m gonna get to do a little TV ‘All That Jazz’ and she did back in I think it was the 80’s.”

Also, Kate Hudson and Zach Woodlee talk about the stunning dance move that Zach created, affectionally called the “giving birth move.”

“I’m looking at it going…no! How am I supposed to do that? They pre-empted with ‘have you stretched?’ And I was like ‘no.’ And I was like, ‘no, I don’t like the sound of this.'”

Zach goes on to praise Kate Hudson saying that she can do anything:

“Someone like Kate, you feel like your opportunities are endless because she’s gonna be able to do whatever you throw at her and pull it out. I do love that woman.”

Did you love “Swan Song” as much as we did?

Glee airs an all new episode this week titled, “Glee, Actually.”
