Girls season 4 will find Hannah moving to Iowa, but not without a few struggles along the way.

A new trailer released today by HBO finds Hannah (Lena Dunham) talking to friends and family about her potential new life in Iowa. The main factor appears to be what she’ll do with Adam (“We’ll take it day by day. There’s no need to create some drama,” he wisely suggests).

Hannah does move to Iowa, the trailer confirms, because we see the lead character working in her new writer’s workshop and enjoying life with the other prodigies. It doesn’t look like the other writers initially take a liking to her, however, because the character they’re developing in the workshop appears to be a parody of Hannah.

Elsewhere in the Girls season 4 trailer we see Marnie (Allison Williams) suffering from an unfortunate sensation known as unrequited love. Meanwhile, Adam wants to change things about himself and Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) is finally getting a job… maybe.

Earlier this week fans were treated to a behind-the-scenes look at the making of season 4.

Girls season 4 premieres Sunday, January 11, 2015. This season has a ten episode order (down two from last season’s series high episode count).
