Check out the first teaser trailer for Girls and get a taste of what is in store for season 3!

Girls does not return to HBO for over a month, but luckily for us the trailer is here and full of juicy goodness!

As always, each of the four Girls in season 3 are struggling with life but have some wisdom in the form of great observations or attacks. “It’s really liberating to say no to shit you hate,” notes Hannah (played by Dunham). In another clip Jessa (Jemima Kirke) asks, “Can you believe my friend told me she died because she didn’t want to hang out with me?”

And in another moment, Marnie (Allison Williams) muses, “I am okay. I might not seem okay and I may not be okay now, but I’m like… okay.”

Warning: Probably not safe for work. If you have seen Girls, you can probably guess there is some language and the appearance of some not fully clothed bodies wandering around.

Some notable moments:

•Hannah lands a job! While she is still the manic mess we know and love, Hannah in an office setting takes us back to the days of early season 1. Let’s hope no one will try to sexually harass her.

•Road trip! First hinted at in the behind the scenes trailer the ladies and Adam hit the open road.

•Andrew Rannells returns as Elijah! Unfortunately for Rannells, his prior gig on The New Normal ended with an unexpected cancellation. Luckily for Girls fans, Elijah is back with Hannah and hopefully ready for another epic night of debauchery.

•Marnie is okay, but she is a mess. After the fallout between creator Lena Dunam and co-star Christopher Abbott, the character Charlie is no longer going to be a part of the series moving forward. This means solo living for Marnie and a new blank slate ahead of her.

• Shoshanna has her own romantic blues to navigate through. Now that she has beau, Ray, is she really better off? The new mysterious Shoshanna, who walks around in big sunglasses and trench coats, is off to redefine herself yet again.

•Jessa is still…Jessa.

Girls returns to HBO on Sunday, January 12 at 9 p.m. ET with back-to-back episodes.
