Tonight’s all new Girls episode 7, “Beach House,” welcomes back a familiar face with a few of his friends. That’s right, the long awaited return of Elijah arrives in the midst of a ladies weekend at the beach. It’s been awhile since all four girls have been together this season, which can only mean one thing, all the problems buried under the rug are about to come out.

Hannah’s work at GQ makes her realize that selling her soul to the corporate world for health insurance and rent money, mean that she must work harder than ever in her downtime to maintain her own voice. Meanwhile, at home, Adam struggles to find a passion for anything, until an audition goes well. His good news is trumped by Hannah’s new drive to write after work. Or her desire to sleep…

Marnie and Ray continue on their dysfunctional path to a friends with benefits relationship. Although clouded with arguing and Marnie’s constant attempts to flee, Ray seems to have a hold on her. Meanwhile, Shoshanna tries another route for a serious relationship as her carefree antics backfire, taking a toll on her GPA.

Hannah, Jessa, Shosh, and Marnie take a girls weekend trip to the beach to recharge, but what happens when an unexpected friend turns up? Marnie’s sudden chance at a fulfilling relationship is cut down by Elijah, while Shosh goes a little crazy.
