Girls brings back all the craziness of the city with tonight’s episode. Get reacquainted with the ladies and their personal drama in our full recap!

Some assistance: Hannah’s co-workers hit the bar for a night away from writing for themselves, the man, or anyone. Hannah takes a few shots too many and winds up under the care of Joe. After emptying her stomach and showering off the night, she wakes up clothed in his bed alone.

Across town, Marnie checks in with Soojin about the possibility of working in her new gallery. The space is still coming together and Marnie believes that she can bring the necessary experience to make the place succeed. While Marnie’s pitch screams gallery director, Soojin’s placement leans more towards over-qualified assistant.

Hannah rushes home to apologize to Adam for staying out in another man’s bed, but she is not greeted with an angry beau. Instead, Adam simply inquires if she had fun with her work friends and moves on to explain that he will be eating muffins while wearing a coat for the next few weeks. You know, normal rehearsal stuff.

Rehearsals: Hannah tries another pass at Adam, this appealing to his sexual proclivities. However, Adam would rather go over his lines and stay focused before rehearsal. As Hannah goes off to get ready to accompany him, Adam goes right back to reading.

Marnie meets with Desi, as per their conversation at Adam’s surprise hotel party. The two go through Marnie’s lyric diary and work through a few improv lyrics together before hitting on his romantic life with his girlfriend Clementine.

Long time gone: Plotting newspapers and talking at a rate close to 500 words a minute, Shoshanna tries to block out Jasper and Jessa’s nonsense with headphones, but their incessant chatter keeps her from her studies. Jessa tries to explain that Jasper has no one who lives in the city, not even his own daughter, who will talk to him.

Hannah and Elijah chat in bed over burritos after Hannah is kicked out of Adam’s rehearsal. Elijah admits that he may not understand Adam, but it is time for Hannah to take action instead of complaining about the state of her relationship. Hannah thinks about what will spice up their life and take them back to the good ole’ days of domestic bliss.

Shoshanna arranges a bit of an intervention with Dot, Jasper’s daughter. Dot reveals a side of Jasper to Jessa that she believes Jessa is destroying. In a one-two-punch, Shoshanna manages to get both Jasper and Jessa out of each other’s toxic circles in order to pick up the pieces of their lives.

Away with me: Hannah tries to seduce Adam through another tactic: role-playing. Her dedication to the role of a woman out on the town looking to cheat on her husband, nearly gets Adam arrested at one point. However, he tries to go along with it until her awkwardness during sex becomes too much. Adam’s old way in the sheets was a way for him to avoid drinking, but now that he and Hannah are in love, the sex means more.

Adam finally confesses where his thoughts have been the past few weeks. In order to focus on the play and avoid all the drama, Adam decides he will stay at Ray’s through the rehearsal process. Without knowing it, Hannah’s man with no direction suddenly finds a purpose, but for right now, it does not have her immediately in focus.
