It feels like we’ve been waiting forever for HBO’s Girls to come back! The first episode of season 2 debuted tonight. Share your thoughts here!

The ladies of Girls are back and better than ever, ready to take over Brooklyn and the rest of New York City. Season 2, episode 1, titled “It’s About Time” found the gang getting back together for a housewarming party at Hannah’s (Lena Dunham) pad. Her new roomie Elijah (Andrew Rannells) seems to be settling into the apartment just fine, while Adam (Adam Driver) is still peeved that he wasn’t chosen to shack up there.

Only several minutes in, we get a taste of what Hannah’s love life has in store for season 2. Things got steamy with Sandy (Donald Glover) (!!) and we’re left to wonder, what about poor Adam with his broken leg? And his pleas for Hannah not to leave him?

We get to meet Marnie’s (Allison Williams) mom in this episode after Marnie gets some pretty bad news at work (pretty bad as in fired). And wait… Marnie and Elijah? We didn’t see that one coming! And yes, the same Elijah that told Hannah he’s gay. Things with Charlie (Chris Abbott) are more complicated than ever, and it looks as if his new girlfriend, Audrey, might dump him soon. Will Marnie go back to him?

Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) was dumped by Ray (Alex Karpovsky) after season 1’s finale, but now he’s trying to win her back. Even with her hardest efforts to avoid him, it seemed the two couldn’t keep their mouths apart at the housewarming party.

Jessa (Jemima Kirke) is reveling in newly-wedded bliss and back from her honeymoon. Will the wild child really settle down with husband Thomas-John?
