Girls‘ season 4 premiere is still six days away, but fans can rejoice that season 5 is a go for 2016.

As the cast and crew of Girls gather in New York City to celebrate the season 4 premiere with a night of partying, they have another reason to celebrate. HBO announced that the hit half-hour comedy will return for season 5 in 2016.

Looking ahead to this week, the show’s fourth season kicks off with another road trip. This time all roads lead to Iowa, in the premiere episode with the same title.

The synopsis for the Girls season 4 premiere reads, “After a congratulatory dinner with her parents (Becky Ann Baker, Peter Scolari), Hannah (Lena Dunham) and Adam (Adam Driver) pack up the last of her boxes and discuss ‘the plan’ for their soon-to-be long-distance relationship. Marnie (Allison Williams) and Desi (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) perform as part of a jazz brunch for a distracted crowd at a downtown restaurant. Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) signs for her diploma with her parents (Ana Gasteyer, Anthony Edwards), who make a bigger deal out of the event than she thinks necessary. Jessa (Jemima Kirke) is confronted by Beedie’s (Louise Lasser) daughter, Rickie (Natasha Lyonne), and later seems nonplussed by Hannah’s impending departure.”

The show has quite the impressive lineup of guest stars slated for season 4, including Ana Gasteyer, Zachary Quinto, Gillian Jacobs, and more. Quite a few recurring characters have not been camera shy in their downtime from the HBO hit either. Adam Driver has made appearances in This is Where I Leave You alongside Tina Fey and Jason Bateman, What If opposite Daniel Radcliffe, and, of course, the new Star Wars film. Meanwhile, Allison Williams soared as the title role in NBC’s production of Peter Pan. Reoccurring guest star Gabby Hoffman appeared in this season’s breakout hit Transparent on Amazon Prime.

The formula Girls has is working and it is only yielding bigger and better things for those involved.

Girls season 4, episode 1, “Iowa,” premieres this Sunday, January 11 at 9:00 p.m. ET on HBO.
