A web series parody of HBO’s Girls will feature stars of Squaresville and School of Thrones, and Hypable has the first look with these exclusive photos.

August 7 will see the premiere of yet another parody web series. Following on from the success of School of Thrones, LA Girls offers a twist on HBO’s hit show Girls.

The show transports the main Girls characters from New York to Los Angeles. While we imagine the characters will change due to their relocation, as yet it is unclear just how much of the parody series plot will be based on the original.

LA Girls has an initial run of 5 episodes. The show stars Kylie Sparks and Tiffany Ariany, of cult web series Squaresville. Sparks will portray Hannah (played by Lena Dunham in Girls), while Ariany will take on the role of Shoshana.

Hypable has the first look at this new series, with two exclusive stills taken from the pilot episode.

The foursome is filled out by Rya Meyers as Marnie, and Victoria Bullock as Jessa. LA Girls will also feature an appearance by Austin Rogers, known for his role as Percy in Squaresville, and Jon Snow in School of Thrones. His character is currently unconfirmed.

Tiffany Ariany is also the creator of LA Girls, and acts as Executive Producer alongside Matt Blessing, with whom she co-wrote the series. Sparks acts as a Producer on the series.

Sparks is currently set to star in yet another parody series, The Walking Tedd, a parody of The Walking Dead, Ted and Wilfred. The show will now go into production, having reached its funding goal on Kickstarter.

LA Girls launches on August 7 on YouTube.
