HBO offers a peek into Girls season 3 with the synopses for four new episodes airing in February.
The synopses for Girls reveal another trip for the ladies awaits and also reveals a major guest star offering Hannah some guidance regarding her love life.
Girls season 3, episode 5 “Only Child” airing Saturday, February 1 AND Sunday, February 2: “Hannah (Lena Dunham) is thrilled to attend an event alongside members of the literary illuminati, until she learns that her eBook deal may be in jeopardy. Later, she tries to help Adam (Adam Driver) and Caroline (Gaby Hoffmann) work through their anger issues; Jessa (Jemima Kirke) makes positive changes; and Ray (Alex Karpovsky) gives Marnie (Allison Williams) candid advice.”
Girls season 3, episode 6 “Free Snacks” airing Sunday, February 9: “Hannah gets a job writing advertorials at GQ, but worries that the corporate environment will kill her creative mojo. Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) rethinks her breakup in light of Ray’s newfound success, while he and Marnie butt heads over lunch.”
Girls season 3, episode 7 “Beach House” airing Sunday, February 16: “During a Long Island weekend getaway with the girls, Hannah runs into Elijah (Andrew Rannells) and invites him and his friends to their beach house, hoping to take the pressure off of Marnie’s rigorous schedule for honesty and healing.”
Girls season 3, episode 8 “Incidentals” airing Sunday, February 23: “During a GQ advertorial interview, Patti LuPone warns Hannah that Adam’s new career path may cause unexpected problems. Meanwhile, Jessa’s boredom at work is interrupted by a surprise visit from an old acquaintance. Later, Hannah is assigned to review the Gramercy Park Hotel, and the group celebrates good news with Adam’s new friend Desi (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), whom Marnie finds particularly captivating.”
Some notable appearances include the highly anticipated return of Elijah (Andrew Rannells) and a special cameo by Patti LuPone! Hannah’s work life falls into place during the next month, but could Adam’s new career place an unexpected speed bump in their happily-ever-after?
Girls February airing kicks off with a one-time schedule change to avoid the Super Bowl. Girls will air on Saturday, February 1 as well as Sunday, February 2 in its normal 10 p.m. ET time slot.
