If you haven’t gotten enough of Lena Dunham as Hannah on HBO’s Girls, now she’s writing an advice book, which topped its bidding last week at $3.7 million dollars.

It was only a matter of time before Dunham took the wit of her screenwriting and translated it to the pages of a book. With the proposed title Not That Kind of Girl: Advice by Lena Dunham, it is said to feature autobiographical anecdotes and tidbits of the most awkward moments of her life. Dunham cites Helen Gurley Brown’s Having It All as inspiration.

The in-house deal for the book was set at a floor of $1 million as of Monday, but has far surpassed that since bidding began. Dunham’s book proposal is speculated to be the hottest of the year, with five publishers looking to grab the deal. It rivals Tina Fey’s $5 million that she received for the 2011 literary hit, Bossypants.

According to Slate, Not That Kind of Girl will include some of the most painfully hilarious stories of Dunham’s life, from losing her virginity to struggles with eating disorders (including pages from her former food journal) to an obsession with death, among other topics.

Additional sections of the book will recount Dunham’s most entertaining tales of creepy, condescending older men, a play-by-play of an uncomfortable date with a director, and details about trips abroad to places like Japan and Israel.

Girls has finished filming its second season, set to premiere this January. Although the show didn’t take home any Emmys this year, Dunham scored three nominations and expectations for season 2 are higher than ever.

Dunham is expected to choose the publisher that will end the bidding war early this week.
