A new announcement today reveals how the Gilmore Girls revival will look when it returns to Netflix!
“Winter, spring, summer or fall, all you have to do is call.” So goes the iconic song by Carol King and so goes the Gilmore Girls revival! According to TV Line when the series returns to Netflix, each of the four 90-minute super-episodes will take place in a different season.
Not only will you get four seasons of Lorelai Gilmore outerwear, but fans will also spend an entire year with Stars Hollow’s finest.
Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Daniel Palladino are set to write and direct the entire revival series. The series, as previously reported, will take place eight years after the end of the series in the present day.

Who knows what shenanigans Taylor and Kirk got themselves wrapped up during that time! We could be entering an entirely unrecognizable town square. (Let’s hope that’s not true!)
One thing that is certain, Richard Giomore will no longer be with us when the series picks up. Edward Herman passed away in December 2014.
The key players, the Gilmore girls themselves, Lauren Graham, Kelly Bishop, and Alexis Bledel are in negotiations along with the man who supplies the coffee, Scott Patterson.
While Netflix and Warner Brothers have yet to make an official announcement, things seem to be moving full speed ahead!
