Giancarlo Esposito, former meth kingpin on Breaking Bad and recent Emmy nominee, will be reprising his role as illegitimate Hawthorn son, Gilbert, in season 4 of Community.

Esposito first appeared in “Digital Estate Planning” during season 3, which is better known as “that one episode in 8-bit SNES graphics.” Esposito’s role as Gilbert had a fairly emotional arc but certainly leaves the door open for more interactions with newly recognized older brother, Pierce.

Maybe his appearance will even allow for the one scene that began the legendary rift between ousted creator Dan Harmon and Chevy Chase. The resulting scream from Harmon’s house if they pull it off may actually register on the Richter scale.

There are no further details about Esposito’s appearance at this time but he can currently be seen on NBC’s new J.J. Abrams’ produced show Revolution.
