The four ladies who will lead the cast of the female-driven Ghostbusters reboot were revealed Tuesday.

Update (5:00 p.m. pacific): Feig has revealed that Ghostbusters, as it appears to be titled right now, will be hitting theaters July 2016:

Actresses Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon make up the cast of the reboot directed by Bridesmaids helmer Paul Feig. They hope to begin filming this summer.

The Hollywood Reporter cautions that only McCarthy has signed the contract, but negotiations with the other three women are ongoing and expected to close.

Feig himself confirmed the news with this tweet:

Wiig, Jones, and McKinnon have all been cast members of Saturday Night Live in recent years, while McCarthy is best known for her breakout role in Bridesmaids and her CBS comedy Mike & Molly.

As moviegoers will surely remember, McCarthy and Wiig co-starred in Feig’s 2011 comedy Bridesmaids. Ghostbusters will be the first time that Jones and McKinnon will work with the director.

The collective star power that these four women bring to the table will ensure a big box office despite the fact that many initially scoffed at this concept.

The original Ghostbusters, released in 1984, starred Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd, and Harold Ramis as three parapsychologists who start a ghost-catching business. It was directed by Ivan Reitman, who was actually in the running to direct the upcoming film with the original cast members (sans Bill Murray) until Ramis died last year. Reitman is now a producer on the film.

What do you think of the ‘Ghostbusters’ reboot cast?

The new Ghostbusters is too big to fail. With a director like Feig teaming up with four hilarious women, there’s no way this Ghostbusters will be anything but excellent. If you need proof, just watch Bridesmaids again.
