Little Carol Danvers from Captain Marvel has scored a starring role in the new Ghostbusters movie.

EW is reporting that McKenna Grace has been cast in the upcoming Jason Reitman-directed Ghostbusters movie. You’ve mostly recently seen McKenna Grace as young Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel, but she’s also starred as young Tonya Harding in I, Tonya, alongside Chris Evans as a child prodigy in Gifted, and in Netflix’s The Haunting of Hill House.

In Ghostbusters, she’ll be playing Carrie Coon’s character’s daughter, who is also the younger sister of Stranger Things actor Finn Wolfhard’s character. The family will have a connection to the original Ghostbusters series and will be the central focus of the new movie. Unlike the Kristen Wiig- and Melissa McCarthy-starring Ghostbusters venture, Jason Reitman’s will loosely be a sequel to the original series.

Ghostbusters is set to start production in summer 2019, and it will be released on July 10, 2020.
