After months of little teases from director Paul Feig, the first Ghostbusters trailer starring Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Kristen Wiig, and Leslie Jones has finally been released. Watch the first Ghostbusters trailer below:

Though the reboot (of sorts) was initially met with criticism, fans of the original movie have mostly come around to the idea of this lady-led Ghostbusters. A lot of the excitement surrounding the new movie comes from the fact that they appear to be respecting the 1984 original thanks to similar Ghostbust-ing costumes, gear, and vehicles.

They even lead the trailer with, “Thirty years ago, four scientists saved New York. This summer, a new team will answer the call.”

There’s a lot to love in this new trailer, starting with the incredible visual effects of the ghosts throughout the movie. The original did a great job for its time, but it’s nice to see the reboot taking advantage of today’s technology. That first apparition at the top of the trailer looks perfect.

The cast clearly has great energy and chemistry, with both physical comedy and perfect one-liners having us laughing through the whole trailer. And when that music hits all the right notes, and the ghosts start taking over New York, you know exactly who you’re gonna call.

THE POWER OF PATTY COMPELS YOU.

The new movie has a lot to live up to, but today’s new trailer has us feeling good about its prospects at the box office.

Ghostbusters hits theaters July 15, 2016. In addition to the aforementioned stars, Chris Hemsworth, Sigourney Weaver, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Cecily Strong (recognize a couple of those names from the original Ghostbusters?) are expected to appear.

Check out a look at Chris Hemsworth’s character below. He plays the secretary in the movie, and did you see the way he kicked down that door? Dayum.
