The Harry Potter and Lost actors will star in a new indie film together.
The movie tells the “true” story of Roy Fontaine, a serial-killing jewel thief and con man who records his life up to the point of his capture and arrest. Oldman will play Wiggy, a taxidermist and partner-in-crime to Fontaine with serious need of anger management. Monaghan is a friend of Fontaine’s who he meets in prison, eventually blackmailing his old comrade.
Monster Butler goes into production on June 6 in Scotland and will be directed by Doug Rath and co-stars Malcom McDowell – who also takes on the role of producing.
