In a new interview and photoshoot, the Game of Thrones actors Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime), Alfie Allen (Theon) and Eugene Simon (Lancel) discuss acting on the show and what other characters they’d like to play.

VMan has put a few great images from their photoshoot “All the King’s Men” online:

Accompanying the pictures were some interview snippets. Amongst other things, Coster-Waldau discusses how he relates to Jaime Lannister:

I am very different from Jaime, but I do understand him and why he acts the way he does. You cannot excuse pushing a kid out a window, and I don’t think Jaime would, but he believed that he was left with no option. I relate to being ready to go to extremes to protect my children. And I think Jaime—for all his arrogance and sarcasm—is a man of strong morals. You just have to do a bit of digging to find them.

Alfie Allen reveals what character he’d like to play other than Theon Greyjoy:

I would like to play King Robert as he seemed to have a lot of fun, then died.
