UPDATE: Read our Game of Thrones recap!

The guilty – and not-so-guilty – will be judged tonight, when Game of Thrones season 4, episode 6 airs on HBO. The episode, titled “The Laws of Gods and Men,” will focus heavily on the trial of Tyrion Lannister, who, as we all know, is accused of poisoning King Joffrey at his own wedding feast.

The official synopsis for Game of Thrones season 4, episode 6 says:

Stannis and Davos set sail with a new strategy. Dany meets with supplicants. Tyrion faces down his father in the throne room.

On last week’s episode of Game of Thrones, Daenerys decided to stay and rule in Meereen, while Tommen was crowned king in Westeros. Cersei made a few subtle manoeuvres, while Arya clashed (literally) with the Hound, and Sansa found that her loving Aunt Lysa was kinda crazypants. Up in the North, Jon killed Karl and freed Craster’s wives, while Bran, Meera, Jojen, and Hodor escaped, to persue the mysterious destiny that waits for Bran with the Three-Eyed Raven.

The preview for “The Laws of Gods and Men” also offers a look at characters who have been missing from the great game for several episodes.

In addition to Yara Greyjoy (yay!) and Ramsay Bolton (boo!) the preview offers a glimpse of Stannis Baratheon’s next move, and Dany settling in as ruler of Meereen.

These plot lines – including the appearance of Sherlock‘s Mark Gatiss as Tycho Nestoris – are all hinted at in the still photos from Game of Thrones season 4, episode 6. But most of the stills focus on the perhaps the most anticipated event of the season, as Tyrion is brought to trial for Joffrey’s murder.

Game of Thrones season 4, episode 6, “The Laws of Gods and Men,” airs tonight at 9:00 p.m. on HBO.
