Last night, Game of Thrones season 3 was celebrated in L.A. See images, read interview snippets – and watch a hilarious new ad featuring Drogon the Dragon.
Time Warner Cable is promoting its brand with this amazing (and VFX-tastic!) advertisement, which shows little baby Drogon lost in the big city, looking for his mummy. But never fear – Daenerys is always close by!
Interestingly, this ad mirrors an early season 3 promo, in which a raven from Westeros had somehow found its way to the present day. We suspect a TARDIS was involved.

Yesterday also saw the grand premiere of Game of Thrones season 3 in L.A., for which author George R.R. Martin was in attendance along with several cast members including Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion), Emilia Clarke (Dany), Lena Headey (Cersei), Kit Harington (Jon), Sophie Turner (Sansa), Natalie Dormer (Margaery), Michelle Fairley (Catelyn) and Richard Madden (Robb).
The stars of course stopped for interviews, and while we expect they’ll be slowly trickling out through the day, one from Access Hollywood has made its way online.

Peter Dinklage shares his belief that Tyrion will be fine following the events of the Battle of Blackwater, which nearly killed him. “He’s very wily, Tyrion. So, he’ll figure it out. He’ll figure out a way to get more comfortable bedding,” the actor jokes.
Meanwhile we can expect a new sort of alliance to form between Tyrion and Cersei. “They’re both put in situations that they don’t want to be,” Dinklage explains, “so they find a common ground in terms of, you know, being put in the hole by their dad.”
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau gives us some insight into Jaime’s frame of mind as the seasons starts, saying, “He wants to get back [to King’s Landing], and he doesn’t like to be in chains. At this point, he just wants to get rid of [Brienne].”
