Game of Thrones fans, rejoice (or be very afraid): soon you’ll be able to visit King’s Landing, when a small town in England temporarily changes its name!

Hertfordshire just made our list of most fandom-friendly places to visit!

The sleepy English town of Kings Langley will be changing its name to “King’s Landing” for one week in February, to celebrate the release of the Game of Thrones season 3 DVDs.

United Press International reports that the suggestion came from a producer on the show, who heard the station name while on a train from London.

While it seems that no other celebrations are planned (beheadings are outlawed, after all, and Ned Stark is already dead anyway. Too soon?), this is a pretty cool way to honour the popular HBO series.

King’s Landing, of course, is the capital of Westeros, where House Lannister currently holds the coveted Iron Throne.

The Game of Thrones season 3 DVD and Blu-ray box sets are released February 18.

The much-anticipated fourth season will premiere some time this spring on HBO. The season will roughly follow the second half of the third novel in the A Song of Ice and Fire saga, A Storm of Swords.

When we last left the world of Westeros, Robb Stark (Richard Madden) and his mother Catelyn (Michelle Fairley) were brutally murdered by the vengeful Walder Frey (David Bradley), while Cersei (Lena Headey) and Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) saw their brother Jaime return to King’s Landing.

Jon Snow (Kit Harington) made it back to the Wall, while his brother Bran (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) made it to the other side. And across the Narrow Sea, Daenerys was busy freeing slaves and becoming their “mhysa.”

We are eagerly awaiting the first proper trailer for Game of Thrones season 4, but luckily a small 10-second preview has already been released. Watch it here!
