Emilia Clarke won’t return for more Terminator movies, and we don’t blame her.

Game of Thrones returned for its sixth season last night, and that means Emilia Clarke’s alter-ego Daenerys Targaryen is once again looking for her dragons.

But don’t expect this particular Sarah Connor to keep looking for her son. Emilia Clarke said in an interview with Comingsoon.net that any future Terminator movies will have to proceed without her.

“No,” she said candidly. “Can I say that? It’s OK. No. Uh-uh.”

Considering how big of a flop Terminator: Genisys was (and just when we learned how to spell it, too), that should come as no surprise. Clarke’s role on Game of Thrones has given her enough star power that she doesn’t have to bind herself to a lackluster franchise.

“But I have some very different roles coming up,” Clarke added in the interview, referring to the adaptation of Jojo Moyles’ Me Before You.

The book tells the touching story of Will Traynor (Sam Claflin), a paralyzed young man who has a surprising connection to the working-class woman Louisa Clark (Emilia Clarke) who has been hired to help him.

The trailer for the movie was met with huge enthusiasm, and Clarke definitely shares that sentiment.

“I read the book and it was just the most beautiful thing I had ever read,” she said. “I was shooting Terminator at the time and had a rocket launcher in my hand while crying like a little girl. I felt like the author, Jojo Moyes, had found a part of me and just wrote it down. I knew that I just had to play the role.”
