Episode 3×02 of Game of Thrones aired tonight, and brought gripping developments along with the introduction of several new key players. In “Dark Wings, Dark Words,” Bran was introduced to the uncanny Jojen and Meera Reed, Sansa met House Tyrell’s manipulative matriarch, and Arya fell in with the intermittently merry Brotherhood Without Banners – and uncomfortably reunited with none other than Sandor Clegane. Meanwhile, Tyrion and Shae struggled with secrets while Margaery continued to work her way in with the Lannisters, and Joffery continued to be an ass. Catelyn chafed with helplessness and grief, Theon made a new friend, and Brienne’s extended lion-walk went south when interlopers made mince meat of both her own plans and Jaime’s.
