Furious 7’s DVD and Blu-ray release date has been announced and the incredibly popular film will be available on September 15, 2015.

Furious 7 took in a massive $1.51 billion at the worldwide box office, making it one of the top grossing films of all-time. Fast and Furious fans came out in droves to see actor Paul Walker’s last ride, and gave him a great send off. The studio has released a new trailer for the film’s Blu-ray release:

  • The film’s screenwriter, Chris Morgan, revealed that he’d decided to make Paul Walker’s character exit more of a retirement during Furious 7, which prevented them from having to kill off the beloved actor and character. We imagine it was incredibly difficult for everyone involved due to Walker’s tragic car accident, but fans flocked to see Furious 7 when the film hit theaters April 3, 2015.

    James Wan directed the film, which also starred Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Elsa Pataky and Lucas Black. They’re joined by international action stars who are new to the franchise including Jason Statham, Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey, Nathalie Emmanuel and Kurt Russell.
